Piper, Peterson, Altrogge, Beatles

If you've never heard John Piper address the subject of corporate worship then his second session at last year's Sovereign Grace conference, entitled The Heart Of Worship,  would be a great place to start.

Andrew Peterson's album The Resurrection Letters, Vol. 2 was one of my favourite albums of 2008 and I recently learned you can get free chord charts for all of the songs on that album from his website.

Stephen Altrogge gave a tantilising glimpse of a master songwriter (his dad Mark) at work. All we learn is that he uses a Moleskine, but it's nice to see behind the scenes all the same.

Lastly, and probably leastly, Robert Zemeckis, is remaking the Yellow Submarine film, using motion capature animation, but retaining the original recordings of the Beatles' songs.

  1. From the looks of his twitter, it looks like Andrew Peterson is in song writing mode now. That's good news. Of course it will probably be two years before they're released, but I'm sure they'll be worth the wait.

  2. Is he generally slow then or is it just because he keep taking time out to write novels?
